Return & Cancellation Policy

1. General Industrial Supply Principle

At Maheshwari Impex, all industrial materials — including alloy steels, die steels, high-speed steels, stainless steels, welding consumables, and silver brazing rods — are supplied on a dedicated B2B commercial basis.

Because raw materials are sourced, band-saw cut, prepared, sheared, or ordered specifically against customer specifications, dimensional requirements, and chemical grades, we do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been confirmed, cut, or dispatched.

2. Pre-Dispatch Verification & Inspection

To ensure complete mutual satisfaction and prevent discrepancies, we follow strict quality verification protocols prior to material handover:

• Pre-Dispatch Inspection: Buyers or their authorized representatives are welcomed and encouraged to physically inspect materials, dimensions, surface condition, and markings at our Delhi premises prior to dispatch.
• Mill Test Certificates (MTC): Material test reports or manufacturer chemical composition certificates are provided upon prior request at the time of quotation.
• Customer Confirmation: Buyers must verify all drawings, cross-sections, chemical grades, and delivery tolerances prior to issuing a formal purchase order or payment.

3. Order Cancellation

Orders for standard warehouse stock may only be cancelled with the written approval of Maheshwari Impex prior to any cutting, processing, or transport allocation. Custom-cut blocks, bespoke silver brazing alloys, or special mill indent orders cannot be cancelled or modified once processing has commenced.

4. Damaged or Discrepant Deliveries

In the unlikely event of physical transit damage or an objective discrepancy against the confirmed invoice specification:

• The buyer must register a formal written notification with supporting photographic evidence and weighment slips within 48 hours of physical receipt.
• Materials must remain in original, unworked condition (un-machined, un-welded, and un-heated).
• Our technical desk will review the documentation and, if a genuine error on our part is established, work toward a commercially fair resolution. Nothing in this policy seeks to contract away non-waivable statutory remedies where applicable by mandatory law.
